Not much is referred to about Hamish Harding’s family as they like to keep out of the spotlight. Hamish is hitched to his significant other Linda. They share two children named Rorry and Giles, as well as a stepdaughter named Lauren.
After his vanishing, his stepson Brian Szasz said on Facebook: “Contemplations and petitions for my stepfather Hamish Harding as his submarine has disappeared investigating Titanic. A hunt and salvage mission is in progress. Contemplations and petitions for my mother and Hamish Harding.”
Hamish has periodically posted family pictures on his Facebook account. In one of the photographs dated July 26, 2019, Hamish should have been visible presenting with his significant other and two children to get a Guinness Book of World Records testament.
In 2019, to praise the 50th commemoration of the Apollo 11 moon landing, Harding, alongside space traveler Col. Terry Virts, drove a group of pilots that caught the Guinness World Record for circumnavigation of the earth through North and South Poles in a Gulfstream G650ER in 46 hours 40 minutes.
